Fortytwo Labs' Ci2 Algorithm Receives C-SAFE Recognition from DSCI
Fortytwo Labs' Ci2 quantum-safe algorithm is the first in India to receive C-SAFE recognition, certifying its resilience against quantum threats. This marks a significant milestone in India's pursuit of cryptographic sovereignty in the face of evolving quantum technologies.

Fortytwo Labs' Ci2 algorithm has achieved C-SAFE recognition from the Data Security Council of India (DSCI), marking a historic first for a domestically developed quantum-safe solution. The recognition was awarded at the FINSEC 2026 event in Mumbai, where Fortytwo Labs showcased its p-Control platform, which has been in continuous deployment since 2018.
This algorithm provides protection against various cyber threats impacting India's critical sectors and offers independently validated evidence of compliance with regulatory standards regarding quantum resilience. The successful evaluation underscores the advancement of post-quantum cryptographic research in India, positioning domestic technologies as reliable alternatives to foreign solutions. The recognition is poised to enhance confidence among stakeholders in the banking and financial services sector amid increasing vulnerabilities from quantum computing.
