Gateworks Launches Catalina SBC Family Powered by NXP i.MX 95 for Edge AI Applications
Gateworks Corporation has expanded its Catalina Single Board Computer (SBC) family, utilizing the NXP i.MX 95 applications processor. The Catalina platform aims to enhance Edge AI, machine vision, and autonomous capabilities in industrial environments. The SBCs support high-throughput applications, robotics, and predictive maintenance, and feature a rugged design for extreme conditions. Gateworks, as an NXP Gold Partner, focuses on integrating advanced features for industrial applications. Demonstrations of the i.MX 95 will occur at Embedded World in Germany from March 10-12, 2026.

The Catalina platform focuses on machine vision, robotics, and predictive maintenance, with models GW9200 and GW9400 offering high-bandwidth capabilities.
The devices support dedicated 10GbE connectivity, modular AI integration, and operate in extreme conditions (-40°C to +85°C). Gateworks emphasizes seamless integration with NXP technologies and modular expansion for future AI performance. Live demonstrations of the i.MX 95 will take place at Embedded World, Nuremberg, Germany, from March 10-12, 2026.
