GBE-N Reveals £4.6bn Commercial Pipeline for Nuclear Projects
Great British Energy - Nuclear (GBE-N) has announced a commercial pipeline valued at up to £4.6bn, focusing on nuclear infrastructure development. Key contracts include a £1.09bn SMR delivery partner contract and a £910M to £1.82bn main works package, set to drive significant industry activity through 2029.

Great British Energy - Nuclear (GBE-N) published a commercial pipeline with an estimated value of up to £4.6bn on 4 August. The largest contract is for SMR delivery, valued at £1.09bn, requiring project management and integration for the Small Modular Reactor project.
The main works package, valued between £910M and £1.82bn, is expected to start procurement in Q1 2029, focusing on the construction of core assets and infrastructure. Additionally, early works for site preparation are anticipated to cost between £730M and £1.1bn, with procurement starting in March 2027.
Other contracts include a marine off-loading facility valued at £170M to £340M and associated developments worth £70M to £140M, both planned for Q1 2028. These developments may significantly impact the civil engineering and nuclear sectors by increasing project scale and complexity.
