GE Vernova Completes $600 Million Sale of Proficy Software Business to TPG
GE Vernova Inc. has finalized the $600 million sale of its Proficy software business to TPG, establishing it as an independent entity serving over 20,000 customers in manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. Proficy's portfolio includes cloud-based HMI/SCADA systems and manufacturing execution systems. GE Vernova will shift focus to software solutions for energy sector decarbonization.

GE Vernova Inc. announced the completion of the $600 million sale of its Proficy software business to TPG. This transaction establishes Proficy as an independent industrial software company serving over 20,000 customers across various sectors, including manufacturing and infrastructure.
Proficy's portfolio features cloud-based and on-premise HMI/SCADA systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES), providing flexibility across operations. TPG now owns Proficy, allowing it to operate independently while supporting its existing clients. GE Vernova will focus on software solutions for the electrification and decarbonization of the energy ecosystem.
