GFTN, UWA's QUISA, and ST Engineering Collaborate on Quantum-Safe Financial Infrastructure via Q-FINEX
GFTN, The University of Western Australia's QUISA Research Centre, and ST Engineering have partnered to advance Q-FINEX, a quantum-enabled financial infrastructure initiative. Announced at the Black Swan Summit Australia 2026, Q-FINEX aims to bridge quantum research with practical applications in finance, addressing challenges like market complexity, cybersecurity threats, and digital asset growth. The initiative will facilitate experimentation and implementation of quantum solutions for financial institutions.

GFTN, The University of Western Australia's QUISA Research Centre, and ST Engineering launched a strategic partnership for Q-FINEX, aimed at developing quantum-enabled financial infrastructure. Announced at the Black Swan Summit Australia 2026, Q-FINEX serves as a testbed for financial applications of quantum computing.
The collaboration combines GFTN's global financial network and ST Engineering's expertise in secure digital infrastructure. The initiative addresses challenges such as market complexity through advanced modelling, evolving cybersecurity threats with quantum-safe encryption, and the management of digital assets. It aims to enable financial institutions to explore and implement quantum solutions using real-world data.
