GHARAGE Ventures Launches €40 Million Fund for Travel Tech Startups
GHARAGE Ventures has launched its first venture fund, raising €40 million to support early-stage technology companies in the travel and trade ecosystem. The fund is anchored by Gebr. Heinemann and aims to drive digital transformation in underdeveloped sectors of travel, addressing operational challenges in airports and retail. The platform intends to invest globally from Seed to Series A, focusing on startups that automate operations, enhance logistics, and improve efficiency in travel retail and airport operations.

GHARAGE Ventures has established its first venture fund, raising €40 million to invest in early-stage technology companies within the global travel and trade ecosystem. The fund, backed by Gebr. Heinemann, aims to facilitate digital transformation in sectors that are currently under-digitized.
It will focus on startups developing automation, AI-enabled operations, and digital infrastructure to resolve operational inefficiencies in airports and retail environments. GHARAGE Ventures plans to make around 30 additional investments globally, with a focus on supporting founders from Seed to Series A. The firm has already invested in FileAI, Bounce, and Gumshoe AI, which streamline retail workflows and provide luggage storage solutions.
