GHARAGE Ventures Launches €40 Million Fund for Travel Tech Startups
GHARAGE Ventures has established its first venture fund, raising €40 million to invest in early-stage technology companies within the global travel and trade ecosystem. The fund, backed by Gebr. Heinemann, aims to facilitate digital transformation in sectors that are currently under-digitized.
It will focus on startups developing automation, AI-enabled operations, and digital infrastructure to resolve operational inefficiencies in airports and retail environments. GHARAGE Ventures plans to make around 30 additional investments globally, with a focus on supporting founders from Seed to Series A. The firm has already invested in FileAI, Bounce, and Gumshoe AI, which streamline retail workflows and provide luggage storage solutions.
