Golden Experiences & Travel Achieves Fourth Carbon Neutral Certification in Galapagos
Golden Experiences & Travel announces its vessels in the Galapagos have been recertified as Carbon Neutral for the fourth consecutive year. The company has implemented emissions reduction strategies, quantified its carbon footprint, and compensated residual emissions through certified carbon credits. La Selva Eco-Lodge & Retreat also achieved Carbon Neutral certification in March 2025, highlighting sustainability across the portfolio. New vessels launching in 2026 and 2027 will have sustainability embedded in their design and operational plans.

Golden Experiences & Travel's vessels in the Galapagos have been internationally recertified as Carbon Neutral for the fourth consecutive year. The company has reduced emissions, quantified its carbon footprint, and compensated for residual emissions with certified carbon credits.
La Selva Eco-Lodge & Retreat achieved the same certification in March 2025, showcasing sustainability efforts across the Golden Experiences portfolio. Upcoming vessels, Monique and Grand Ocean Spray in 2026 and Galapagos Eminence in 2027, will be designed with sustainability in mind, featuring a decarbonization roadmap and operational protocols aligned with international standards.
