Groundwork BioAg Partners with Beck's Hybrids to Enhance Carbon Removal Solutions for Farmers

CARBON CAPTURE

Groundwork BioAg, a leader in carbon dioxide removal technology, has forged a strategic alliance with Beck's Hybrids, aiming to broaden its decarbonization initiatives and provide farmers with new revenue opportunities linked to carbon sequestration. This partnership will allow American farmers involved in Beck's Grain Attribute Program to leverage Groundwork's innovative Rootella mycorrhizal inoculants and Rootella carbon program.

Rootella mycorrhizal inoculants, developed over years of extensive research and refinement, are designed to form fungal mycelia that integrate with plant root networks, thereby enhancing their reach in the soil. This symbiotic relationship not only improves water and nutrient absorption but also diminishes reliance on fertilizers, leading to cost savings and enhanced crop yields. Additionally, these inoculants bolster plant resilience, particularly for crops grown in challenging environments susceptible to drought, flooding, and variable soil conditions.

Groundwork BioAg's innovative approach provides a permanent pathway for carbon removal, which is essential in combating climate change. The accompanying Rootella carbon program enables farmers to engage in the voluntary carbon market by selling soil carbon credits generated through their agricultural practices, supported by the efficacy of Rootella mycorrhizal inoculants.

With this solution already utilized in 23 global markets, the partnership between Groundwork BioAg and Beck's Hybrids is poised to open new avenues for U.S. farmers. Thad England, Director of U.S. Strategic Accounts at Groundwork BioAg, emphasized that this collaboration respects grower choice while exemplifying how biological innovation and market access can converge to enhance productivity and profitability for farmers.
