Guthrie Celebrates Completion of West Side Booster Pump Station
City leaders in Guthrie held a ribbon-cutting for the rehabilitated West Side Booster Pump Station, funded by the 2024 CIP Sales Tax. The project addresses water pressure issues for the west side of town, replacing outdated equipment with a system capable of delivering 1,500 gallons per minute. This upgrade significantly improves water reliability and supports future growth.

Guthrie officials inaugurated the West Side Booster Pump Station, a project funded by the 2024 Growing Guthrie Capital Improvement Project Sales Tax. The rehabilitation addresses water pressure issues for the west side, replacing two small pumps with three larger pumps that deliver approximately 1,500 gallons per minute.
The upgrade aims to enhance water reliability and support community growth. City leaders emphasized the importance of this infrastructure for residents, businesses, and schools, positioning Guthrie to meet current and future water service demands more effectively.
