Harman Becker GmbH Expands Facility in Székesfehérvár with 52 Billion HUF Investment
Harman Becker GmbH, a South Korean supplier to German automakers, is expanding its Székesfehérvár facility with a 52 billion HUF (134.24 million EUR) investment, supported by a 7 billion HUF government subsidy. This investment aims to enhance automation and digitalization, securing 4,200 jobs. The facility will support software and hardware developments for autonomous vehicle functions, particularly for Mercedes. Over the past decade, Székesfehérvár has attracted significant investment, preserving 8,800 jobs and establishing itself as a key player in Hungary's automotive sector.

Over the last ten years, Székesfehérvár has seen agreements for sixty investments worth around 250 billion HUF, preserving 8,800 jobs. The region is becoming a key hub for automotive industry advancements and R&D.
