Harpak-ULMA has introduced the VTC 840 WD, a vertical form-fill-seal system designed to enhance hygiene and operational efficiency for food manufacturers. This system provides full IP66 washdown capability, nearly 20% lower electrical consumption, and over 30% reduction in compressed-air usage.
The VTC 840 WD simplifies operations by reducing the number of reel rollers from 30 to 5 and includes smart automation features for improved setup and production consistency. Following its launch at Interpack 2026, it is now available for order in North America and will be showcased at PACK EXPO International 2026 in Chicago. This system could significantly impact the industry's approach to hygiene and utility management.
