Heidelberg sells out net-zero cement in Norway

Heidelberg Materials has pre-sold the full 2025 output of its Brevik cement plant's net-zero cement (evoZero). The plant captures ~400,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually under Norway's Longship CCS initiative. Without government subsidies covering two-thirds of the $3B project, such technology would not be viable.
