Kurt Heinen, Managing Director of Heinen Automation, will present on collaborative robotic integration at the 3rd Labor Summit in Aachen on February 26. He emphasizes that inclusion is a competitive advantage and highlights a project with Lebenshilfe Aachen that digitized inspection documentation and utilized cobots.
In this setup, individuals with disabilities operate a mobile workstation where they align glass jars and initiate the cobot, which labels them. This project showcased the potential of cobots to enhance human capabilities, although it remains a funded initiative without further developments.
