Hexagon Launches Upgraded PULSE System for Enhanced Measurement in Manufacturing
Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division has launched an enhanced PULSE environmental monitoring solution aimed at improving measurement accuracy in manufacturing environments. The system's advanced capabilities enable real-time tracking of environmental factors, supporting manufacturers in reducing errors and downtime.

Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division has released an upgraded PULSE system for coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to enhance environmental monitoring. This solution features improved sensing capabilities for temperature, humidity, vibration, shock, and probe deflection, which are critical for maintaining measurement precision in dynamic production environments.
The system offers seamless integration with automation systems, allowing data sharing with PLCs and MES platforms. New probe deflection monitoring capabilities distinguish between environmental disturbances and actual collisions, minimizing unnecessary recalibrations.
The modular architecture supports future upgrades and is compatible with all Hexagon CMMs, facilitating standardization across various equipment. The PULSE system is available for order as of March 30, 2026, with easy installation processes designed for both new and existing users, potentially improving machine uptime and reliability in inspection processes.
