Hindalco Industries Ltd reported a net profit of ₹7,013 crore for Q1FY27, a 75% increase from the previous year, exceeding analyst expectations. Consolidated revenue hit ₹84,825 crore, reflecting a 32% year-on-year growth, while EBITDA rose 73% to ₹14,989 crore.
The company is undertaking projects worth ₹50,000 crore, focusing on timely execution and operational efficiency across its alumina and copper facilities. Vedanta Aluminium emerged as the highest bidder for a bauxite block in Odisha, highlighting increased competition in the sector. Hindalco's diversified portfolio and strategic investments are positioned to support sustainable growth, although input costs are projected to rise in upcoming quarters.
