The Holland America Line is implementing the Evolution program to improve fleet efficiency, focusing on advanced power management and system performance. The initiative includes significant technical upgrades across six ships, starting with the Oosterdam, which will be drydocked in late 2027.
The Zuiderdam is set for drydocking next year. This program, supported by Fincantieri, also involves the addition of new stateroom categories and the Grand Dutch Café on select ships. Further details on refurbishment timelines will be released, marking this as the largest project in the company's 153-year history. Investments in propulsion and automation are critical for operational reliability.
