Honda Achieves EPA ENERGY STAR Certification for Seven US Plants in 2025
In 2025, seven Honda manufacturing plants in the US received EPA ENERGY STAR certification for energy efficiency. Notably, the Marysville and East Liberty plants in Ohio achieved this for the 20th consecutive year. Other certified facilities include the Indiana Auto Plant, Anna Engine Plant, Alabama Auto Plant, and Honda Transmission Plants in Ohio and Georgia. Honda's Green Factory initiative, launched in 2021, contributes to these efficiency improvements through various energy-saving measures.

Seven Honda manufacturing plants in the United States earned EPA ENERGY STAR certification in 2025 for their energy efficiency. The Marysville and East Liberty plants in Ohio achieved this for the 20th consecutive year.
Other certified plants include the Indiana Auto Plant (14th year), Anna Engine Plant in Ohio (8th year), Alabama Auto Plant engine facility (7th year), and both Honda Transmission Plants in Ohio and Georgia (6th year each). The Honda Green Factory initiative, established in 2021, supports these efficiencies through measures such as electric heat pumps, waste heat recovery, and renewable energy agreements.
