Hoyer VMS Group is expanding its headquarters in Ningbo, China, with a 3,800 m² warehouse and workshop. This expansion aims to enhance support for shipowners, fleet managers, shipyards, and OEM customers across Asia.

It follows Hoyer's acquisition of VMS Group in November 2025, combining expertise in electric motors and automation with global maintenance capabilities. The facility will support relocating employees and build a local workforce starting in March. The expansion allows for proactive inspections of propulsion systems and electric motors, reducing downtime and operational disruptions for clients throughout Asia.
