Humara Secures €1.2 Million Seed Round for AI Plant Operations Tool
Humara closes a €1.2 million seed funding round led by Impact Shakers to enhance its AI-driven plant operation platform. The investment aims to accelerate the deployment of Duplantis, an AI co-pilot designed for real-time plant operations in waste and recycling facilities.
Humara, a software company based in Galicia, has successfully completed a seed funding round totaling €1.2 million, led by Impact Shakers and joined by Inclimo, along with existing investors Zubi Capital, Ship2B Ventures, and a group of business angels. The funds will focus on scaling its platform and deploying Duplantis, which transforms static plant models into real-time Digital Twins by integrating SCADA signals, optical separator data, and operational KPIs.
Initial deployments indicate a 4% reduction in landfill rejection rates and a 5%-7% decrease in operational expenses per plant. This funding supports Humara's vision to bridge the gap in plant design, enhancing decision-making through data-driven insights.
