Idemia and Elenium Partner to Enhance Biometric Airport Experience
Idemia Public Security and Elenium have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance airport identity management using biometric technologies. Their collaboration aims to unify the passenger journey from check-in to boarding through automation and biometric solutions, improving efficiency and reducing congestion. Additionally, Tampa International Airport has introduced Enhanced Passenger Processing with U.S. Customs for faster identity verification, while the Philippines' Department of Transportation expands biometric check-in at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Idemia Public Security and Elenium have formalized a partnership to digitize air travel, integrating Elenium's automation platform with Idemia's biometric technologies to streamline airport processes from check-in to boarding. This collaboration aims to create a contactless and efficient passenger experience.
Elenium's self-service technologies are in use at over 45 airlines and 35 airports, benefiting 1.7 billion passengers. Tampa International Airport has launched an Enhanced Passenger Processing system with U.S.
Customs to expedite identity verification for U.S. passport holders, achieving a 25% reduction in wait times. The Philippines' Department of Transportation reports expanded biometric check-in initiatives at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
