IFGreen Industries Commissions Hybrid Solar PV and Energy Storage System in Epe, Nigeria
IFGreen Industries & Investment Ltd has commissioned a Hybrid Solar PV System and Battery Energy Storage System at its Epe facility, marking a shift towards renewable energy. The project, in partnership with Grosolar and supported by CleanEnergyFund, ensures a 24-hour power supply, enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability. This transition aims to reduce energy costs, carbon emissions, and reliance on diesel, while also supporting job creation and community development.

IFGreen Industries & Investment Ltd has successfully commissioned a Hybrid Solar Photovoltaic (PV) System and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at its production facility in Epe, Lagos. The project, executed with Grosolar and financed by CleanEnergyFund, provides uninterrupted 24-hour power supply, marking a significant step towards renewable energy and sustainability.
The transition will deliver annual energy cost savings, stability in energy pricing, and reduced carbon emissions. This initiative ends over four years of dependency on diesel generators, allowing IFGreen to reinvest savings into growth initiatives and local job creation. The company also plans to explore circular economy solutions by converting agro-processing waste into bio-gas.
