The EN 1398 standard for dock levellers is currently being revised by CEN TC98/WG5, with active participation from ALEM President Phil James. Recent innovations include Hörmann Transdek's installation of a Vehicle-to-Ground lift at Next's distribution center, enhancing online fulfilment capabilities.
Stertil has installed a new FlexiEdge M2 high-speed door at Heathrow Airport for DHL, emphasizing reliability due to the site's high traffic. ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems launched the RT1000 spiral door, offering advanced speeds and efficiency.
