As part of its 'Project NextGen' mill modernization in Saint John, N.B., Irving Pulp & Paper is enhancing its recovery boiler, with co-op student Connor Breen developing 900 pages of reference documentation. This documentation aims to ensure proper control and maximum efficiency of the new equipment, which will produce steam for green energy generation. Breen acquired new automation skills and learned to interpret vendor logic diagrams to create user-friendly materials.
