A Japanese air compressor manufacturer has placed an order for its third PTG Holroyd TG350 helical thread and rotor grinding machine, totaling 14 machines from the UK manufacturer. The relationship began in 1956 with the purchase of a rotor milling machine.

The latest TG350 will be constructed at PTG Holroyd Precision's Rochdale facility in 2026, with delivery expected in early 2027. This machine will grind screw rotors up to 350mm in diameter, improving production capabilities. The TG Series machines are designed for high-speed, high-accuracy operations, incorporating advanced controls and automation features to enhance efficiency.
