JR Automation Raises $165,000 for Charity Through Employee Fundraising in West Michigan
JR Automation, a Holland-based robotics manufacturer, raised over $165,000 for local nonprofits in 2025 through its employee-led charity program, setting a new record. The JR Community Care Fund, established in 1997, matches employee donations and has expanded to support thousands of employees across North America. Funds were distributed to various West Michigan organizations, including the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Foundation and Make-A-Wish Michigan. JR Automation is also building a new global headquarters in Zeeland, expected to be completed by late fall.

In 2025, JR Automation raised over $165,000 for local nonprofits in Michigan, exceeding previous records of $150,000 in 2024 and $133,000 in 2023. The fundraising was conducted through the JR Community Care Fund, which matches employee contributions.
Charitable recipients include organizations focused on food security, environmental stewardship, and health services. The Holland East and West divisions supported 10 local groups, while the Detroit division selected four additional recipients. JR Automation, employing over 2,000 people globally, is constructing a new $72.8 million headquarters in Zeeland, consolidating 350 employees and adding 150 new jobs.
