JST Corp. is set to invest $500 million in a new automation-based manufacturing facility in Guntersville, Alabama, covering 540,000 square feet. This project will initially create 80 jobs, expanding on the existing 25 employees at JST's current facility in the area.
The new site aims to integrate advanced robotic systems for production processes and will also include a 10,000-square-foot sales, marketing, and engineering building. The location is strategically chosen to enhance JST's involvement in Alabama's automotive sector while promoting environmental stewardship.
The design will maintain a natural aesthetic, reflecting the surroundings of Lake Guntersville and preserving significant portions of the property for public use. JST's expansion indicates a commitment to leveraging local talent and fostering job growth in the region.
