JSW Motors Limited signed a memorandum of understanding with Tata Indian Institute of Skills on February 26, 2026, to develop a training program for its EV manufacturing plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. This program focuses on EV systems, automation, welding, and advanced manufacturing.

JSW Motors will maintain control over hiring and curriculum validation. Tata IIS was selected based on its training infrastructure and OEM engagement. The collaboration aims to create a skilling ecosystem that includes training for suppliers and dealers, with plans for an in-house training academy as operations scale.
