Komatsu North America will acquire SRC of Lexington to expand its remanufacturing capabilities in North America. This move is in response to the rising demand for remanufactured components, particularly in the construction and mining sectors.

Since 2010, Komatsu's reman business has grown significantly, with transaction volume increasing approximately fourfold by FY2024. SRC remanufactures components such as hydraulic pumps, transmissions, and engines. The acquisition is expected to finalize by February 2026 and will enhance support for customers while maintaining quality standards.
