Kvaser Launches Kvaser Edge: A Secure Linux Platform for Automotive and Industrial Applications
Kvaser has unveiled Kvaser Edge, a secure Linux-based edge computing platform for automotive and industrial applications, offering real-time diagnostics and smart data processing. It allows data processing directly on vehicles or machines, enhancing efficiency and reducing reliance on cloud storage. The platform features hardware-rooted security with an ARM-based computer and NXP SE051C2 Secure Element, and is designed for rugged environments while complying with cybersecurity standards.

Kvaser has launched Kvaser Edge, a secure Linux edge platform aimed at improving data management for automotive and industrial sectors. This platform allows for real-time data processing on-site, reducing the need for extensive data collection and storage.
Kvaser Edge incorporates a powerful ARM-based Linux computer and NXP SE051C2 Secure Element to ensure robust security and compliance with the Cyber Resilience Act. Key features include isolation for developers using containers, real-time remote diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and intelligent event-based logging.
The platform is designed for compact installation in automotive settings and enhances the data-to-insight pipeline by processing data during generation, providing immediate summaries of anomalies. Kvaser is building a developer ecosystem to support third-party applications on KEOS.
