LG Electronics has launched a new WashTower model utilizing heat pump technology to decrease energy consumption and provide gentle drying for textiles. This integrated washer-dryer unit features centralized controls and synchronized cycles.

Unlike traditional models, it operates by recycling air within a closed circuit, which lowers energy usage and fabric damage. The system avoids the need for external air discharge, allowing for installation in various environments. LG is also expanding its presence in Brazil with a new factory in Curitiba to boost local appliance production and reduce import reliance.
