Limassol to Launch €5.17M Smart Parking System in July 2026
Limassol's smart parking system, covering 2,500 spaces, is set to launch in early July 2026, enhancing urban mobility. The project aims to optimize parking management and alleviate congestion in high-demand areas.

The smart parking system in Limassol is scheduled to launch in early July 2026, encompassing approximately 2,500 parking spaces. Awarded to Blue Sun Automation Ltd for €5.17 million, the project is designed to modernize parking management and improve traffic flow.
Real-time sensors will provide parking availability via a mobile app, facilitating electronic payments and reducing the need for physical tickets. Pricing discussions have suggested a charge of around €1 per hour, with a daily cap of €15, though these figures are not yet finalized.
Enhancements at organized car parks, including Enaerios, aim to improve circulation and increase capacity. The initiative aligns with broader efforts in Cyprus to implement smarter urban transport systems, as seen in concurrent projects in Latsia Yeri and Larnaca, which focus on app-based solutions and demand-responsive pricing.
