Louisiana to Transform Former Tin Roof Brewing into Carbon Capture Startup Incubator

CARBON CAPTURE

The state of Louisiana is converting the former Tin Roof Brewing site into Proof Works, an incubator for carbon management startups. This facility will provide lab space, programming, and workspace for early-stage tech firms focusing on carbon capture and industrial technology.

It is part of the FastSites initiative, with $140 million allocated for development. Proof Works will be managed by Paul Barrial and aims to support startups in overcoming funding gaps during product development.

The incubator will be strategically located between LSU and downtown Baton Rouge, fostering collaboration with local innovation entities. LSU FUEL will support Proof Works' first tenants, enhancing the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
