Lucknow's Infrastructure and Defence Projects Highlighted by CM Yogi Adityanath
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath announced the completion of the Gomti River cleanup by year-end and emphasized modern infrastructure in Lucknow, including smart roads and defence technology advancements like BrahMos missiles. The government is investing ₹101 crore in 12 new development projects in Lucknow Cantt to improve urban facilities.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath confirmed that the Gomti River will be fully cleaned by the end of this year, emphasizing ongoing efforts and collaboration with the Central Command. He highlighted Lucknow's dual identity as a hub for modern infrastructure and defense technologies, particularly BrahMos missile development, while preserving its cultural heritage.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh laid the foundation stone for 12 development projects in Lucknow Cantt, valued at ₹101 crore, aimed at enhancing education, health, and urban facilities. These initiatives may significantly improve the quality of life for residents and position Lucknow as a model for urban development in India.
