The company aims to resolve significant connectivity bottlenecks in AI data centers, where the number of GPUs deployed is rapidly increasing.
A single data center with 400,000 GPUs may require over 2.4 million optical transceivers, highlighting the inadequacy of current copper solutions. Lumilens specializes in optical interconnects for both scale-up and scale-out networks, facilitating efficient GPU connections.
