QUANTUM COMPUTING

Applications for Cohort 9 of Luminate NY, a leading business accelerator for optics, photonics, and imaging technologies, close on January 12, 2026. Selected startups receive an initial investment of $100,000 and compete for a total of $2 million in follow-on funding at the program's end.

Luminate NY, managed by NextCorps, focuses on sectors like Quantum Computing and MedTech, allowing remote participation with in-person sessions in Rochester, NY. Startups may also access dual-accelerator support through partnerships with Silicon Catalyst and PhotonDelta.

To qualify, companies must have at least two full-time employees, be incorporated, possess a working prototype, and commit to operating in the Finger Lakes region for 18 months if awarded follow-on funding. Cohort 9 will select 10 companies, starting in April 2026.
