Maharashtra Launches 7MW Solar Project to Supply Daytime Power for 1,316 Agricultural Pumps in Deola
A new 7MW solar project at the Bhaur substation in Deola, Maharashtra, aims to provide daytime electricity to 1,316 agricultural pumps. This initiative, part of the 'Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0', includes a 4MW facility at Vithewadi and a 3MW facility at Bhaur, supporting agricultural efficiency and environmental sustainability.

The Maharashtra government inaugurated a 7MW solar power project at the Bhaur power substation in Deola taluka under the 'Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0'. The project consists of a 4MW unit at Vithewadi and a 3MW unit at Bhaur, together providing assured daytime electricity to 1,316 agricultural pumps in the Vithewadi, Bhaur, and Bagdu regions.
This initiative aims to enhance agricultural productivity by allowing farmers to work safely during daylight hours. Officials emphasized the importance of community support for maintaining the utility's service quality.
