Mandatory Water Conservation Order Issued in Parts of Marshall County Due to Pump House Power Surge
Marshall County officials have issued a mandatory water conservation order following a power surge at Public Service District #4's pump house, which caused damage. Some areas are already out of water, while others are under conservation orders. Residents were notified via the Wireless Emergency Notification System.

A mandatory water conservation order has been established in parts of Marshall County due to a power surge that damaged a pump house operated by Public Service District #4. This district supplies water to the Fork Ridge/US Route 250 tank and subsequently to the Rock Lick tank.
Some areas are currently without water, while others have been placed under conservation orders. The district has contacted their electrical contractor and reported the situation to AEP. Residents were informed through the Wireless Emergency Notification System.
