Manx Utilities Advances Jurby Reservoir and Pump Station Project Despite Weather Disruptions
Manx Utilities reports progress on the new treated service reservoir and pump station in Jurby. All wall pours are complete, and roof slab panels have been cast. The project aims to enhance water infrastructure, support future development, and provide fire-fighting storage. Weather conditions in January and February limited crane operations, prompting additional resources and pre-fabrication efforts. Completion is anticipated by the end of August, staying within budget.

Manx Utilities is advancing work on the treated service reservoir and pump station in Jurby, with all reservoir wall pours completed. Roof slab concrete panels have been successfully cast, and roof planks will soon be installed over the pump and valve gallery.
The project aims to enhance local water infrastructure, providing resilience for homes and businesses, and supporting future community growth. Additionally, it will offer fire-fighting storage. Adverse weather in January and February limited crane operations, leading to the addition of concrete-works resources and pre-fabrication efforts. The project is on track for completion by the end of August and remains within budget.
