MCorp and Teladan Group Launch Phase 1 of German Technology Park in Melaka
MCorp and Teladan Group have launched Phase 1 of the German Technology Park (GTP) in Melaka, which spans 296.91 acres. Take-up rates for factories in Phase 1 are reported at 50% to 60%, primarily from local buyers. The project aims to position Melaka as a hub for German-linked industrial collaboration following the Melaka chief minister's visit to Germany in 2023. GTP will support various industries, including automation and green technology, and aims to attract RM10 billion in investments by 2030.

MCorp and Teladan Group have launched Phase 1 of the German Technology Park (GTP) in Melaka, with factory take-up rates at 50% to 60%, mainly from local buyers. The Melaka chief minister indicated that the GTP project, inspired by a 2023 visit to Germany, aims to establish the area as a hub for German-linked industrial collaboration and technology transfer.
GTP will support industries such as automation, medical devices, and aerospace components. Melaka attracted RM8.8 billion in new investments in 2024, exceeding its target of RM5.59 billion, with aspirations to reach RM10 billion by 2030.
