MEA Energy Trading Limited has partnered with Petrosoft to deploy SmartPump technology across its retail fuel stations in Nigeria. The SmartPump solution offers end-to-end automation, providing real-time data visibility, inventory control, and operational oversight for downstream energy companies.

As a subsidiary of a UAE-based consortium, MEA Energy aims to enhance its network of retail fuel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) stations. The integration of SmartPump technology is expected to improve customer service and operational efficiency, enabling real-time oversight of fuel inventory and sales data.

According to MEA Energy's Chief Commercial Officer, this partnership represents a new standard for retail operations in Africa, focusing on transparency and supply chain optimization. Petrosoft's CEO noted that the system enhances consumer confidence by ensuring accurate dispensing and tamper-proof operations.
