Mitsubishi Electric has invested in Elephantech Inc. to accelerate the adoption of inkjet printing technology for manufacturing printed circuit boards (PCBs). Elephantech specializes in nano-ink technology, utilizing copper nano-ink to print electronic circuits directly on substrates, thereby reducing manufacturing steps and lowering environmental impact.

The partnership will enable Mitsubishi Electric to offer factory automation solutions that incorporate this technology. The companies plan to collaborate on developing and mass-producing inkjet printing equipment, and Mitsubishi Electric aims to use this technology in its own manufacturing operations.
