Mitsubishi Power Secures Long-Term Service Agreement for Ilijan Plant
MHI-PSC has signed a Long-Term Parts and Services Agreement with SPPC to maintain the 1,200-MW Ilijan facility until 2040. This partnership will enhance the reliability of power generation in the Philippines, underscoring Mitsubishi Power's significant role in the country's energy landscape.

MHI Power (Philippines) Plant Services Corp. (MHI-PSC) has entered into a Long-Term Parts and Services Agreement with South Premiere Power Corp. (SPPC) for the maintenance of the Ilijan plant, which has been operational since 2002.
The agreement encompasses the supply of critical turbine components, repairs, inspections, and technical support for the Mitsubishi Power M501G gas turbines. The Ilijan plant is part of the 2.5-gigawatt LNGPH complex, which is a joint venture among Meralco PowerGen Corp., Therma Natgas Power Inc., and San Miguel Global Power Holdings Corp. With a power supply agreement lasting until 2040, this collaboration aims to ensure long-term reliability and stability in power generation to meet the Philippines' energy demands.
