Modi's Upcoming Visit to Dehradun: Toll-Free Plazas and Major Inaugurations
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Dehradun on April 14 will feature toll-free access at Lachhiwala and Asharodi plazas to ease traffic for expected large crowds. Inaugurations include the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway and various infrastructure projects totaling thousands of crores.

On April 14, during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Dehradun, the Lachhiwala and Asharodi toll plazas will operate without charges from 5 am to 8 pm to facilitate traffic. This decision, mandated by District Magistrate Savin Bansal, aims to manage anticipated congestion due to large crowds for the inauguration of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway and a public rally at Mahindra Grounds.
Modi will also lay the foundation for key projects, including the 1000 MW Tehri Pump Storage Plant and the expansion of Pantnagar Airport. Enhanced measures are being implemented to maintain order and ensure smooth traffic flow as significant vehicle influx is expected, particularly from border and hill districts.
