Mombak Achieves EW Credits and Registers Reforestation Projects with Isometric
Mombak has generated its first Isometric-verified enhanced weathering credits and registered reforestation projects, marking significant progress in carbon removal strategies. This development positions the company as a leader in multi-pathway carbon removal solutions, particularly in the Brazilian Amazon.

Mombak has generated its initial 46 enhanced weathering (EW) credits through the Cajueiro project in Brazil, which utilizes finely ground basalt to sequester CO2. The project, verified by 350Solutions, contributes to soil health and crop yields while following Isometric's Enhanced Weathering in Agriculture Protocol.
Mombak has also registered its first reforestation initiative with Isometric, focusing on restoring degraded Amazonian pastureland with native species. These reforestation efforts aim for 100-year durability credits and will adhere to Isometric's Reforestation Protocol, recently approved by ICVCM Core Carbon Principles. This dual approach could enhance Mombak's credibility and attract more partnerships in carbon removal.
