Mozambique's ENH, CFM, EDM, and HCB Form Gas Logistics Company
Four state-owned entities in Mozambique have established the Integrated Natural Gas Logistics Services of Mozambique (SLIGM) to enhance gas supply for domestic and regional markets. This initiative is expected to diversify energy sources and reduce reliance on imports by monetizing domestic gas reserves.

The National Hydrocarbons Company (ENH), CFM, EDM, and Hidroelectrica de Cahora Bassa (HCB) signed a shareholders' agreement to form the Integrated Natural Gas Logistics Services of Mozambique (SLIGM). This initiative includes a Joint Development Agreement for the development and financing of a liquefied natural gas project, which will feature a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) and infrastructure in Inhambane and the Port of Beira.
The companies aim to combine resources to ensure the project's sustainability, granting exclusive rights for financing, construction, and operation of the LNG terminal. This project is anticipated to bolster energy sovereignty and improve economic conditions in Mozambique.
