MTA Launches Gemini Air-to-Water Heat Pump for Commercial Use
MTA Spa introduced the Gemini heat pump, designed for commercial and industrial applications, featuring scalable configurations and delivering heating capacities from 84 to 900 kW. With a coefficient of performance up to 3.28 and options for modularity, the product addresses the demand for efficient temperature control in various settings.

MTA Spa has launched the Gemini air-to-water heat pump, targeting commercial and industrial sectors. The system offers scalable configurations, allowing six units to connect on-site, with heating capacities ranging from 84 to 900 kW and cooling capacities exceeding 1 MW.
The models achieve a coefficient of performance (COP) of 3.28, with the largest unit reaching a COP of 3.14. All models utilize R454B refrigerant with a global warming potential of 466. Potential impacts include improved energy efficiency in commercial applications, while the environmental considerations of refrigerants may pose regulatory risks.
