MV Agusta Unveils Quadrato Five-Cylinder Engine for Future Motorcycle Models
MV Agusta announced the development of the Quadrato, a five-cylinder engine platform designed for various motorcycle segments, with a displacement range of 850cc to 1150cc. The engine produces 240 horsepower at 16,000 rpm and 99.5 lb-ft of torque at 8,500 rpm. Weighing around 130 pounds, it features a unique cranktrain layout for reduced vibrations and compact design. The Quadrato will debut in a future model not currently in the lineup.

MV Agusta is developing the Quadrato, a five-cylinder engine concept unveiled at EICMA 2025. Designed for multiple motorcycle segments, it allows displacement modification from 850cc to 1150cc. The engine generates 240 horsepower at 16,000 rpm and 99.5 lb-ft of torque at 8,500 rpm.
Weighing approximately 130 pounds, the Quadrato is compact with a unique 'U'-type cranktrain layout to minimize vibrations. It incorporates advanced electrification features, such as electric water and oil pumps. The engine will appear in a future model that is not currently in production.
