FLOW CONTROL
MV Agusta is developing the Quadrato, a five-cylinder engine concept unveiled at EICMA 2025. Designed for multiple motorcycle segments, it allows displacement modification from 850cc to 1150cc. The engine generates 240 horsepower at 16,000 rpm and 99.5 lb-ft of torque at 8,500 rpm.
Weighing approximately 130 pounds, the Quadrato is compact with a unique 'U'-type cranktrain layout to minimize vibrations. It incorporates advanced electrification features, such as electric water and oil pumps. The engine will appear in a future model that is not currently in production.
