Naked Energy has secured €6.17 million in funding to advance its Virtu technology, a patented hybrid solar collector. Earthworm Group led the funding round, with Taqa Holdings Ltd. as a co-investor. The investment will support sales, marketing, international partnerships, and production automation.
Virtu achieves a peak efficiency of 80%, converting 20% of solar energy into electricity and 60% into heat. Compared to traditional solar PV panels, Virtu requires significantly less space to produce equivalent energy and carbon savings. Taqa Holdings views this investment as strategic for promoting sustainable energy solutions.
