NanoMalaysia Berhad Deploys Graphene-Enhanced Concrete for Data Centre Development
NanoMalaysia Berhad has industrially deployed graphene-enhanced concrete technology, crucial for infrastructure in Malaysia's digital sector. This advancement aligns with national sustainability goals and positions Malaysia as a key player in resilient infrastructure development.

NanoMalaysia Berhad (NMB) has successfully transitioned graphene-enhanced concrete (GEC) technology from pilot stages to industrial use, specifically for the Princeton Digital Group data centre in Sedenak, Johor. Developed under the National Graphene Action Plan, this innovation enhances strength, waterproofing, and carbon sequestration, supporting Malaysia's low-carbon economy objectives.
The technology, commercialized by IDC Global Holdings Sdn Bhd, marks a significant advancement as NMB seeks to localize graphene production from domestic biomass. This effort illustrates how Malaysia is evolving from a technology consumer to a sovereign provider of industrial innovations, capable of exporting resilient infrastructure solutions, particularly to Singapore.
