Nedbank's Intelligent Hyper Automation strategy has generated more than R375 million in annualized value, reflecting the bank's commitment to AI and digital banking. In its interim results for the six months ending June 30, Nedbank reported headline earnings of R8.4 billion, supported by increased net interest income and revenue growth.
The strategy utilizes AI, machine learning, and robotic process automation to enhance client experience and productivity. Digital banking adoption grew, with 72% of SADC clients now digitally active. Key initiatives contributed to lending growth, while the bank maintains a strong return on equity at 15%. Looking forward, continued digital transformation is expected to support earnings growth in the latter half of the year.
